Dear Folks,

"I think that online writers should not care about getting more hits or where the
hits come from. I think that it is detrimental to our work, as are comments."

The other day I saw on my web server summary that a person in Moldovo down loaded 150 pages of my poems.

This was the first time anyone in Moldovo had ever gone to my website.

Moldovo ex Moldovia ex Bessarabia? is a hundred miles from where my father was born in 1898 in Pietra Niemt, Romania. Its a long way from California. It made me very happy.

Your Friend,

David

Selon Adrian Miles <adrian.miles@rmit.edu.au>:
around the 18/10/05 Frederic Madre mentioned about Re: [-empyre-] C.

trackbacks don't measure hits. They indicate where someone else has
written a link to you.

yes, I know.

(Why you want to do this is a different set of questions.)

It is the question I am asking you, indeed.
so, besides getting more hits

I think that online writers should not care about getting more hits or where the
hits come from. I think that it is detrimental to our work, as are comments.
